Description
Pohlstars by Frederik Pohl is a compelling collection of science fiction short stories from the award-winning author of the Heechee Saga. Published by Del Rey / Ballantine Books, this 1984 first edition mass market paperback features cover art by Rick Sternbach and includes notable tales such as The Sweet, Sad Queen of the Grazing Isles and Spending a Day at the Lottery Fair. The stories blend entertainment with intellectual challenge, showcasing Pohl's signature sardonic humor and social conscience. This vintage copy shows some shelf wear to the edges and covers, consistent with its age, but remains a solid addition for any sci-fi collector or fan of classic space adventures. Thanks for looking!
